Around the world there are places revered for their inherent beauty and power. Many of these Places of Power have been honored for thousands of years. Our Retreats are held at such places so that participants may learn to tap into the energy of the land and connect with the power of nature. In this way we can heal our bodies, hearts and spirits.
Mount-Shasta
Long revered by Native Peoples, Mt. Shasta is revered as the sacred healing mountain. Walk in the footsteps of the Wintu and Pit River Indians who met in this very place for their summer gatherings. Meet each day for teaching circles and extraordinary ceremonies in a wildflower-filled meadow with a spectacular view of Mt. Shasta.
Italian Alps
In the Italian Alps, all views are exquisite. Powerful mountains and forests surround and cradle us, while grassy meadows filled with wildflowers embrace us. The landscape is blessed by sacred mountain rivers, creeks and waterfalls. Sunrises and sunsets are spectacular.
The Island of Crete
The beauty of Crete is unparalleled. Magnificent rock formations contrast with the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea. In the Spring, witness the myriad of wildflowers in every color imaginable.. yellow, peach, red, cobalt blue, lavender, deep purple, white. Orchids and hyacinths grow wild on this land. Hike through fresh herbs and enjoy the aroma of oregano, thyme and sage. In late Summer and Fall, a golden glow pervades the island and the water is warm as a bath.
The Great Alaskan Wilderness
Our sacred circle sits right at the shoreline of the Inside Passage. Behind us is the temperate rainforest of the Tongass National Forest, and nearby are the flowing rivers of ice of the famous Mendenhall Glacier. Every day, bald eagles are singing and flying overhead, and sitting in the trees at the edge of our circle giving us their blessings.
